Raducanu made her return to competitive tennis in the United Cup in January but after which she revealed that she was unable to play for two and a half months due to an ongoing injury.

A big highlight for Raducanu in 2025 was making the semi-finals of the WTA 500 tournament in Washington as she overcame two-time US Open champion Naomi Osaka in dominant fashion and also Sakkari before losing to .

The Brit also recorded her best result in a WTA 1000 event when she in March, and she made the last eight at Queen's, too, before bowing out to on that occasion.

At the China Open in September, had three match points against in the third round before losing , while she then called an abrupt end to her season in October after feeling unwell at other events in China.

So far, the 2021 US Open victory remains Raducanu's sole success in a major tournament. She reached the fourth round in Wimbledon that year - a feat she matched in 2024 and might have bettered were it not for injury - but at the Australian and French Opens, she has never progressed beyond the third round.
